KENNETH (CHIKO) JOSEPH MCKAY February 15, 1958 - October 8, 2007 Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Ken passed away at the age of 49 years. Ken leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Shelly McKay, his mother Jeanne, his daughters Amber and Randi and their mother Cheryl Lecuyer, his step-sons Calvin, Cameron, Christopher and Todd, his sisters Pat (Claude) Beaudry (Chantal and Paul), Lisa (Rob) Swan (Reanna and Ryan), his brother Wayne Ross (Wayne Jr.), his mother-in-law June McDonald, his grandmother Rose Ross. Sisters-in-law, Sheila, Shannon (Doug), Sandra (Vern) and brother-in-law Al as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Laurent in 1988. The family would like to thank Dr. P. Kerr and the staff at the St. Boniface hospital and the Health Sciences Centre for all their care and support of Ken. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date.
